# Delete a job opening

You can delete a job opening to remove it from Talenteria as well as your career sites.

TipIf you want to temporarily hide a job opening from your career sites, it is recommended that you [change its status](/v1/docs/change-job-opening-status) to **On Hold**. In this case, you will be able to reactivate the job opening at any time.

To delete a job opening:

1. Go to **Candidates**, **Job Openings** **and** **Talent Pools** > **Job Openings**.
2. On the **Job Openings** page, select the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae8040b0-f92a-4262-a61d-9d836fcbb559/Images/Documentation/Horizontal_dots_menu.png) icon on the tile of the job opening that you want to remove, and then select **Delete**.

3. Select **Yes, delete it!** on the confirmation message that appears.
