Link a candidate to a job opening

If a candidate applies for a job from a career site, they will be automatically linked to the corresponding job opening. However, when you manually create a candidate in Talenteria, such a candidate is not linked to any job opening yet.

Linking a candidate to a job opening can be used to indicate that the candidate has applied for the job.

To link a candidate to a job opening:

1.  Go to Candidates, Job Openings and Talent Pools > Candidates.
2.  On the Candidates page, select the name of a candidate to open its details.
   Note

   If the candidate has already applied for a job, the Applied status will be shown next to the candidate name. You can still link such a candidate to a different job opening if necessary.
   
3.  Select the Link to Job Opening button, and then select a job opening to link the candidate to.

The job opening that you have linked the candidate to opens. The candidate status becomes Applied.
